Congregation History
Rabbi Mendel Hertz and his wife Sheina founded and currently serve the larger Hilton Head Jewish community. Started in the mid-2010s, Bluffton’s Chabad also offers a variety of Jewish programming for all ages. One such program is the Cup of Care, which provides both visits and gift packages for the elderly in order to ensure that no one feels forgotten. In addition, they host regular community events for holidays and adult education.1
